I guess it's something like "add search bar from blah blah" which you find in every Java update installation or maybe some advertisement service.

As I registered it took me a while to figure out that the button I was consequently hitting next to the security code entry meant "request new code"! :-) It almost drove me mad! :-) But at least I did it but then the issue with ActiveX appeared... Oh well, that's the way it is. As long as Tenhou loves me everything is okay! I wouldn't like it just to play offline Fight Club or something. That's somehow not the real thing! :-)

Have fun grinding!Fat Dragonnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2636736300811846957.post-88874095378975376412010-12-16T22:55:21.130-03:002010-12-16T22:55:21.130-03:00No additional software is necessary, it's prob...No additional software is necessary, it's probably just suggesting the installation. Ignore it. You just download the starter (+game) and everytime you want to run it you will run it from the site (using the files in your computer).

If you consider players on Janryuumon are 90% playing in Japan, and that there are an average of 600-700 people online, I think they are doing a great job. If it was made easier for foreigners and people with slow computers, I bet it would be a success. English version soon, I hope. But in a different server, please.

It deppends on how many games I'm going to play and with what purpouse. I enjoy Tenhou as "it's always there." Fast and efficient and I can grind for longer periods of time.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18423570465968966529noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2636736300811846957.post-22481153290940100752010-12-16T05:27:44.750-03:002010-12-16T05:27:44.750-03:00It seems like you prefer playing... both! :-)

As I tried to install Janryuumon it asked me to install additional software beside the client. What's that software? Is it neccessary to play Janryuumon? I try to keep additional software installations on a minimum so this really made me nervous.

The pictures of Janryuumon just look great. It sounds like if they really try to get some players to steadily play there. I'm sure there are enough players in Japan so Tenhou and Janryuumon can exist beside each other.Fat Dragonnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2636736300811846957.post-19488982506888633172010-12-15T00:59:01.400-03:002010-12-15T00:59:01.400-03:00Hey, there.
Hm... which one is my favorite... it ...Hey, there.

Hm... which one is my favorite... it is hard to say. Before, I would have said Tenhou without a doubt, but Janryuumon 2 is pretty good. Nashi-nashi is a great feature, and the people at Jukuren table can be pretty good too.

But, if you take appart all the "nice extras" like action, graphics, voices, human-factor, etc, I'd say playing in Tenhou is a little more linked to skill. Mainly because of the many divisions among players. If you play in the general lobby, you aim to play in dan lobby, then upper dan, then phoenix. You can improve your rank and rate as well as move up some tables with people who play more seriously.

In Janryuumon, you have General and Profficient. Also, the rate system is very poor. But all the other features rock.

Add to that the fact, that everyone with flash player has access to Tenhou. Some people have limitation to entering Janryuumon.

I would have to say Tenhou. But if Janryuumon keeps improving (they should speed up the games a little, too), we are looking at a formidable contender.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18423570465968966529noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2636736300811846957.post-66945781474970805972010-12-12T08:36:54.091-03:002010-12-12T08:36:54.091-03:00Hi xKime! It seems like you work both of them quite regularly...Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
